Against the Torah

Did the apostles Teach against the Torah?

Nope.

The apostles never stopped the Jews from keeping the Torah (Acts 21:24).

The New Testament verses quoted refer to “Gentile believers” of whom God did not require such a Torah observance in all aspects (Acts 21:25).

This is a common shallow misunderstanding of quoting verses out of context and intended audience.

Also, the Torah parts which have been fulfilled and become useless has been changed as the author of Hebrews writes and this agrees with Jeremiah 31:32 where there is a “change” in this New Covenant evidenced by the phrase “not like the covenant which I made with their fathers in the day I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt” found in Jeremiah 31:32.

This means that God is NOT repeating the Torah (identical) as per the one before but changes it New according to His Will based on what’s fulfilled and comes next as the author of Hebrews explains too (e.g. Hebrews 8:13, Hebrews 7:12, Hebrews 7:18) agreeing to Psalm 119:18 (example Exodus 4:22 & Hosea 11:1 with Matthew 2:15 as the wonderful or hidden meaning).

The other error you repeatedly quoted is that the Covenants are to the “age” (not forever, literal meaning of Ow-lam) till God accomplishes His Will.

But there are more and Greater things Revealed in New Testament Scripture which is not found in any Judaism writings previously as YHWH willed it such (Ephesians 3:5, Colossians 1:26). To know that, I implore thee to accept New Testament Scripture.

To understand each distinction with verses clearly pointing to it, please consider the write up below, thank you
