By His Blood – Enemies to Friends – Reconciliation of the Whole World – End of Time of the Ages

All prophets of God testified of the ‘coming Restoration (Restitution) of All things’ beyond ‘Israel only’ by the Blessed Messiah, Lord Jesus Christ:

“and He may send Jesus Christ who before hath been preached to you, Whom it behoveth heaven, indeed, to receive till times of a Restitution of all things, of which God spake through the mouth of all His holy prophets from the age. ” (Acts 3:20 – 21, YLT)

Let’s Consider it Scripturally (with “verses”):

Firstly, the “Mystery of the Ages” (please notice the word ‘all’ or ‘all things’ in verse below and subsequent verses quoted later too):

“In many parts, and many ways, God of old having spoken to the fathers in the prophets,

in these last days did speak to us in the Son, whom He appointed Heir of all things, through whom also He did make the ages;

Who being the brightness of the glory, and the impress of His subsistence, bearing up also the all things by the saying of His might — through Himself having made a cleansing of our sins, Sat down at the Right Hand of the Greatness in the highest,

having become so much better than the messengers (angels), as He did inherit a more excellent name than they.” (Hebrews 1:1 – 4, YLT)

Yes, “ages” (the time period) for Him to Fulfill the Will of God to ‘Save All things as we shall see next.

The ‘faith’ defined in (Hebrews 11:1) which was held by the ‘elders’ too (Hebrews 11:2) is the one which ‘understood’ the ‘time frame of the ages’ (Hebrews 11:3) as it is written below, literally:

“And faith is of things hoped for a confidence, of matters not seen a conviction,

for in this were the elders testified of;

by faith we understand the ages to have been prepared by a saying of God, in regard to the things seen not having come out of things appearing;” (Hebrews 11:1 – 3, YLT)

Next, how will He Forgive all who sinned?

Only His Blood Never asked for Vengeance and instead asked Forgiveness for His “Enemies” (Luke 23:34, Hebrews 12:24) who crucified Him (which is “all who sinned”), thus By “His Blood” Alone, He Will “Reconcile All things” in the “fulness of times” just “as it is written”:

“For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things have been created through Him and for Him.

For it was the Father’s good pleasure for all the fullness to dwell in Him, and through Him to reconcile all things to Himself, having made peace through the blood of His cross; through Him, I say, whether things on earth or things in heaven.” (Colossians 1:16, 19, 20, NASB)

But “Now” (present time), only the believers are reconciled (the rest later):

“yet He has now reconciled you in His fleshly body through death, in order to present you before Him holy and blameless and beyond reproach—” (Colossians 1:22, NASB)

Yes, the ‘rest’ of the ‘all things’ in the ‘fulness of the times’:

“That in the dispensation of the fulness of times He might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in Him:” (Ephesians 1:10, KJV)

Indeed,

“namely, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and He has committed to us the word of reconciliation.” (2 Corinthians 5:19, NASB)

Helping us to understand the various details of ‘His Greatest Story of Love ever’ to the ‘whole World’:

“and He Himself is the propitiation for our sins; and not for ours only, but also for those of the whole world.” (1 John 2:2, NASB)

All sin of the World will eventually be ‘taken away’ (cease to exist) as the Forerunner for Christ Himself Prophesied Beautifully:

“The next day he saw Jesus coming to him and said, “Behold, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!” (John 1:29, NASB)

Making sense of His Will which Will certainly be Fulfilled by Christ Alone:

“For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him.” (John 3:17, BSB)

Where afterlife Judgment is certain for those not believing but will be Triumphed by His Mercy (ending ‘all’ Judgment sentences eventually even to the ‘one who has showed no mercy’):

“For judgment will be merciless to one who has shown no mercy; mercy triumphs over judgment.” (James 2:13, NASB)

And His Mercy will apply to “All” eventually (not just believers):

“For God has shut up all in disobedience so that He may show mercy to all.” (Romans 11:32, NASB)

So that in the ‘End’ (verse 24 below), God becomes “All in All” (verse 28):

“Now I make known to you, brethren, the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received, in which also you stand,

by which also you are saved, if you hold fast the word which I preached to you, unless you believed in vain.

For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received, that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures,

For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive.

But each in his own order: Christ the first fruits, after that those who are Christ’s at His coming,

then comes the end, when He hands over the kingdom to the God and Father, when He has abolished all rule and all authority and power.

For He must reign until He has put all His enemies under His feet.

The last enemy that will be abolished is death.

For HE HAS PUT ALL THINGS IN SUBJECTION UNDER HIS FEET. But when He says, “All things are put in subjection,” it is evident that He is excepted who put all things in subjection to Him.

When all things are subjected to Him, then the Son Himself also will be subjected to the One who subjected all things to Him, so that God may be all in all.” (1 Corinthians 15:1 – 3, 22 – 28, NASB)

Yes, only when ‘Death’ (first, second) is Destroyed (‘cease to exist’), “immortality” (a different word from age-during or ‘aionion’ life) comes upon ‘All’ (Context 1 Corinthians 15:22 & 1 Corinthians 15:28 too):

“But when this perishable will have put on the imperishable, and this mortal will have put on immortality, then will come about the saying that is written, “DEATH IS SWALLOWED UP in victory.

“O DEATH, WHERE IS YOUR VICTORY? O DEATH, WHERE IS YOUR STING?”” (1 Corinthians 15:54 – 55, NASB)

Old Testament verses quoted by apostle Paul for the above verses add to the Beauty of His Revelation regarding this all ‘as it is written’:

“He will swallow up death for all time, And the Lord GOD will wipe tears away from all faces, And He will remove the reproach of His people from all the earth; For the LORD has spoken.” (Isaiah 25:8, NASB)

Please notice that apostle Paul (being divine inspired) quotes Hosea 13:14 in 1 Corinthians 15:55 as the ‘General case’ & ‘not only for Ephraim’ (Hosea 13:12, a highlight or focus) Meaning that God ‘Saves’ from the ‘Realm of the Dead’ (Sheol, Hades) too which includes its punishment regions of ‘Gehenna’ as well as discussed in an earlier post proving it true:

“From the hand of Sheol I do ransom them, From death I redeem them, Where is thy plague, O death? Where thy destruction, O Sheol? Repentance is hid from Mine eyes.” – God (Hosea 13:14, YLT)

To quote:

Explanation for Hosea 13:14: Please consider this for further edification

God Will not change from doing it = meaning of ‘repentance is hidden from My Eyes’

God Will save them from Sheol first before destroying it = meaning of ‘Ransom’ (Save, 1 Timothy 2:6 with 1 Timothy 2:4 too in context) from the Power of ‘Sheol’

God Will save them from ‘Death’ too (including all type of Death, even the Second Death too) = meaning of ‘from Death I Redeem (Save) them’

This is the ‘Final Victory of Christ’ as Concluded in 1 Corinthians 15 in light of various aspects as discussed:

“The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law; but thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” (1 Corinthians 15:56 – 57, NASB)

Yes, He Will be ‘All’-Victorious in the ‘End’:

“The one who practices sin is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the very start. This is why the Son of God was revealed, to destroy the works of the devil.” (1 John 3:8, BSB)

“The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” – Lord Jesus Christ (John 10:10, KJV)

P/S: What’s the Difference between Salvation vs Rewards?

Please consider:

Salvation vs Rewards

Salvation is a Free Gift of God as we are all sinners (“all who have sinned” in Romans 3:23 are then said to be “justified freely” (the ‘same’ all who have sinned, None left out,) in Romans 3:24 eventually and in the “present time” believers receive it first, Romans 3:26).

Rewards are based on our works & we will be judged for it, receiving good or evil according to what we have done. An advantage for believers is that “no” Judgment for us as John 5:24 mentions.

Simple as that and best is, “as it is written”.

P/S:

Example, the translation below reflects this well (as the ‘object’ referred to in both verse 23 and 24 is the ‘same all who have sinned’) and thus the NIV translation is ‘not’ wrong in ‘meaning’ when it adds the ‘word all’ in verse 24 in its translation because the ‘meaning is the same” in Original Greek.

“for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by His grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.” (Romans 3:23 – 24, NIV)

For the ‘present time’ part (this word exists in Greek when quantifying the ‘Salvation meant for believers only’):

“in the forbearance of God, for the showing forth of His righteousness in the present time, for Him to be just, and justifying the one of the Faith of Jesus.” (Romans 3:26, NASB)

Yes, regarding God Saving ‘all men’ but ‘believers’ being more special (The Unselfishness of God to Save All men too eventually is Promised in Holy Scripture!):

“Who (God) will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.” (1 Timothy 2:4, KJV)

And to ‘Preach this Fact’ (ending) we ‘labour and suffer reproach’ (it’s an undeserved, unmerited honour by His Grace):

“For it is for this we labor and strive, because we have fixed our hope on the living God, who is the Savior of all men, especially of believers.” (1 Tomothy 4:10, NASB)

And yes, His ‘Ransom for All’ will come to pass (become True, a Testimony, a Reality) in its ‘own Times (‘Kairois – Divine Moments’), Unchangeable:

“Who did give Himself a Ransom for All — the testimony in its own times — in regard to which I was set a preacher and apostle — truth I say in Christ, I do not lie — a teacher of nations, in faith and truth.” (1 Timothy 2:6 – 7, YLT)

Please note that in the last verse above that to ‘preach’ this ‘full truth’ regarding the Gospel (Good News till ‘all bad news ends’) is the Reason ‘Why’ He is a ‘Preacher and an Apostle’. Are we carrying it out in the same manner of Depth (Maturity)?

“But solid food is for the mature, who because of practice have their senses trained to discern good and evil.” (Hebrews 5:14, NASB)

It’s inevitable as ‘all creation’ will be set free eventually to the ‘Glorious liberty as the Children of God’ when the servitude of ‘corruption, decay’ (“sin & its effects”) ends:

“For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself also will be set free from its slavery to corruption into the freedom of the glory of the children of God. ” (Romans 8:20 – 21, NASB)

‘Blessed Saviour of the World’

“and they were saying to the woman, “It is no longer because of what you said that we believe, for we have heard for ourselves and know that this One is indeed the Savior of the world.” – Samaritans, the ‘outcast’ (John 4:42, NASB)

“We have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son to be the Savior of the world.” Apostles & the Earliest Church (1 John 4:14, NASB)

If we understand God Accurately, we may grow in maturity to be like Job ‘despite the evil circumstances we face now’:

“Through all this Job did not sin nor did he blame God.” (Job 1:22, NASB)

Do we really ‘believe’ in Him?

“Look among the nations! Observe! Be astonished! Wonder! Because I am doing something in your days– You would not believe if you were told.” – God (Habakkuk 1:5, NASB)

“Jesus said to him, “Because you have seen Me, have you believed? Blessed are they who did not see, and yet believed.” (John 20:29, NASB)

“He who has the bride is the bridegroom; but the friend of the bridegroom, who stands and hears him, rejoices greatly because of the bridegroom’s voice. So this joy of mine has been made full.” (John 3:29)
