Are you worthy?

Note the word “worthy” (or worth) in each of the passages below (revealing the sufferings, rewards & matters regarding it):

“watch ye, then, in every season, praying that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that are about to come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man.” – Lord Jesus Christ (Luke 21:36)

“but those accounted worthy to obtain that age, and the rising again that is out of the dead, neither marry, nor are they given in marriage;” – Lord Jesus Christ (Luke 20:35)

“The well-leading elders of double honour let them be counted worthy, especially those labouring in word and teaching,” – apostle Paul (1 Timothy 5:17)

“they, indeed, then, departed from the presence of the Sanhedrin, rejoicing that for His Name they were counted worthy to suffer dishonour,” – apostle Luke (Acts 5:41)

“for which also we do pray always for you, that our God may count you worthy of the calling, and may fulfil all the good pleasure of goodness, and the work of the faith in power,” – apostle Paul (2 Thessalonians 1:11)

“This is an obvious sign of the righteous judgment of God, to the end that you may be counted worthy of the Kingdom of God, for which you also suffer.” – apostle Paul (2 Thessalonians 1:5)

“He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me; and he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me.” – Lord Jesus Christ (Matthew 10:37)

“Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things.” –  apostle Paul (Philippians 4:8)

“Some faced jeers and flogging, and even chains and imprisonment. They were put to death by stoning; they were sawed in two; they were killed by the sword. They went about in sheepskins and goatskins, destitute, persecuted and mistreated—

the world was not worthy of them. They wandered in deserts and mountains, living in caves and in holes in the ground.

These were all commended for their faith, yet none of them received what had been promised, since God had planned something better for us so that only together with us would they be made perfect.” – unknown author (Hebrews 11:36 – 40)

“I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.” – apostle Paul (Romans 8:18)

“These have come so that the proven genuineness of your faith–of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire–may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed.” – apostle Peter (1 Peter 1:7)

P/S:

Blessed ones of the first resurrection:

“The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were completed. This is the first resurrection.

Blessed and holy is the one who has a part in the first resurrection; over these the second death has no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with Him for a thousand years.” – apostle John (Revelation 20:5 – 6)
