How Bad or Serious are our errors?

How serious are our errors each time it ‘contradicts or goes against’ the “Word of God (the Bible)” & especially when we ‘remain stubborn’ by refusing to change ourselves to obey instead?

“For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from being king.” (1 Samuel 15:23)

May God have Mercy on us all:

“For God has bound up all in disobedience, that He may show mercy to all.” (Romans 11:32)

Indeed,

“He saved us– not by works of righteousness that we had done, but according to His mercy — through the washing of regeneration and renewal by the Holy Spirit.” (Titus 3:5)
