Christian Celebrations: Special Days or Observances?

Not for Christians (as a “religious or ritualistic command”):

You are observing special days and months and seasons and years! I fear for you, that somehow I have wasted my efforts on you.” (Galatians 4:10 – 11)

We don’t need to observe any ‘special days’ etc. under the New Testament.

*The Sabbath is observed “not religiously nor ritualistically” but in “Principle”, to ‘rest & anything more such as church attendance by freewill only’ for the Lord reveals that this “rest time – of the Sabbath” was “made for man” (Principle of ‘rest’) and NOT that “man was made for the Sabbath” (religious/ritualistic obedience).

Jesus said to them, “The Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath.” (Mark 2:27)

No one can judge you even with regards to Sabbaths for every such believer is ‘protected’ by this verse:

Let no one, then, judge you in eating or in drinking, or in respect of a feast, or of a new moon, or of sabbaths,” (Colossians 2:16)

P/S:

You may do it (such celebration) for “fun” or if it is ‘helpful to you’ but ‘not’ in a ‘religious/ritualistic’ reason/manner a Scripture does “not” seem to support such acts however ‘noble the tradition of men intends otherwise’.

But, if anyone does ‘observe such special days’, it’s up to him but it has “no” spiritual value ‘added’ when judged against another person who does “not observe it” but rather, considers “all days alike” as the verse below reveals ‘this Principle of allowance’ (God allows “both ways” – choose for yourselves which fits you best but ‘no’ belittling others who practice contrary to you):

One man regards a certain day above the others, while someone else considers every day alike. Each one should be fully convinced in his own mind. He who observes a special day does so to the Lord; he who eats does so to the Lord, for he gives thanks to God; and he who abstains does so to the Lord and gives thanks to God.” (Romans 14:5 – 6)

Why, then, do you judge your brother? Or why do you belittle your brother? For we will all stand before God’s judgment seat. ” (Romans 14:10)

So then, each of us will give an account of himself to God.” (Romans 14:12)

Stick to the Bible and nothing else an you’ll be “peaceful”.
