Enemies (Charity)

So, what does it mean when believers support the charity-work of our ‘enemies’?

1) Believers are not bigots

2) Believers do it in obedience to God’s ‘perfect’ principle as follows:

Old Testament:

If your enemy is hungry, give him food to eat; if he is thirsty, give him water to drink.” (Proverbs 25:21)

New Testament:

On the contrary: “If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink. In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head.” (Romans 12:20)

3) Believers are not cruel; helping them does “not” equal ‘agreeing’ with them.

You don’t have to ‘agree’ with another’s beliefs in order to help or be kind toward them (the ‘perfect’ Way as taught in the Bible).

P/S:
The “coals of fire” burns “their conscience” (if they’re sensitive to it) hopefully to make them realize the “errors” of their “bigoted” (unloving, racist, selfish, or just plain ‘evil’) ways.

Remember, Love does not delight in “unrighteousness” (evil) nor “lies” but only in the “truth” as it’s written:

Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.” (1 Corinthians 13:6)
