Entering Heaven – Born of the Water and Spirit

“Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.” (John 3:5, NASB)

Verses:

(i) Born of ‘Water’ – the ‘Overflowing Scourge’

“And I have put judgment for a line, And righteousness for a plummet, And sweep away doth hail the refuge of lies, And the secret hiding-place do waters overflow.

And disannulled hath been your covenant with death, And your provision with Sheol doth not stand, An overflowing scourge, when it passeth over, Then ye have been to it for a treading-place.” (Isaiah 28:17 – 18, YLT)

“Overflowing Scourge” (Isaiah 28:18) = “waters overflow” (Isaiah 28:17) = ‘Born of Water’ in the afterlife by the Mercy of God in the afterlife = drink of the ‘water of life freely’ (Revelation 22:17):

“The Spirit and the bride say, “Come.” And let the one who hears say, “Come.” And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who wishes take the water of life without cost.” (Revelation 22:17, NASB)

Please note that the ‘Bride’ (His Church, believers) are calling out to the “thirsty” ones (from the ‘lake of Fire’, post Judgment) to be ‘relieved of their thirst’. Believers can never thirst in the afterlife and thus cannot be the ones referred to in the verse above (Revelation 22:17):

“but whoever may drink of the water that I will give him, may not thirst — to the age; and the water that I will give him shall become in him a well of water, springing up to life age-during.'” – Lord Jesus Christ (John 4:14, YLT)

(ii) Born of Spirit – the Beautiful Confession

The Beautiful Confession that ‘Jesus is Lord’ will be done by His Spirit, and not by might and nor by Power fulfilling the shouts of ‘Grace, Grace to it!’ by the ‘top stones’ when these prophetic verses are ‘seen together’:

“So the angel who was speaking with me answered and said to me, “Do you not know what these are?” And I said, “No, my lord.”

Then he said to me, “This is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel saying, ‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ says the LORD of hosts.

‘What are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you will become a plain; and he will bring forth the top stone with shouts of “Grace, grace to it!”’” (Zechariah 4:5 – 7, NASB)

Yes, everyone who Confesses ‘Jesus is Lord’ in ‘truth’ will be ‘born of the spirit’ as the ‘Holy Spirit’ is sealed on such without Whom such a Confession is impossible (and God never receives ‘fake’ confessions):

“Therefore I make known to you that no one speaking by the Spirit of God says, “Jesus is accursed”; and no one can say, “Jesus is Lord,” except by the Holy Spirit.” (1 Corinthians 12:3, NASB)

A Beautiful ending where ‘all’ who confess must ‘be saved’:

“Turn to Me and be saved, all the ends of the earth;
For I am God, and there is no other.” (Isaiah 45:22, NASB)

Scripture promises that this Beautiful Confession unto Salvation will be done by “all” eventually (with “no” forcing) & most must be in the afterlife as it is written, bringing ‘Glory to God the Father’ as the ‘oath’ (or ‘swearing of Allegiance’ is done by each to God, repentance):

“For it has been written: “I live, says the Lord, that every knee will bow to Me, and every tongue will confess to God.” (Romans 14:11, BSB)

“I have sworn by Myself, The word has gone forth from My mouth in righteousness And will not turn back, That to Me every knee will bow, every tongue will swear allegiance.” – God (Isaiah 45:23, NASB)

“wherefore, also, God did highly exalt Him, and gave to Him a Name that [is] above every name,

that in the Name of Jesus every knee may bow — of heavenlies, and earthlies, and what are under the earth —

and every tongue may confess that Jesus Christ [is] Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” (Philippians 2:9 – 11, YLT)

The only Begotten Son of God (Lord Jesus Christ) imputed His Righteousness to “all” and “those believing” Saving them after they do it:

““They will say of Me, ‘Only in the LORD are Righteousness and strength.’…” (Isaiah 45:24, NASB)

“But now the Righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;

Even the Righteousness of God which is by Faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:” (Romans 3:21 – 22, KJV)

Conclusion

Being “Born again” (of the ‘water & spirit’) is ‘how He saves us’ which believers receive it ‘through faith’ in the ‘present time’ (a spiritual regeneration or renewal begins in us) on earth itself though our ‘earthly outward man is perishing daily’:

“Jesus answered and said to him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

Nicodemus said to Him, “How can a man be born when he is old? He cannot enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born, can he?”

Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

“That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

“Do not be amazed that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’” (John 3:3 – 7, NASB)

“Therefore we do not lose heart, but though our outer man is decaying, yet our inner man is being renewed day by day.” (2 Corinthians 4:16, NASB)

P/S: It will all come to pass ‘as it is written’:

“Also the word of the LORD came to me, saying,

“The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house, and his hands will finish it. Then you will know that the LORD of hosts has sent me to you.

“For who has despised the day of small things? But these seven will be glad when they see the plumb line in the hand of Zerubbabel—these are the eyes of the LORD which range to and fro throughout the earth.”” (Zechariah 4:8 – 10, NASB)

Indeed,

“For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the Faith of God without effect?

God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That Thou mightest be justified in Thy sayings, and mightest overcome when Thou art judged.” (Romans 3:3 – 4, KJV)
