Evil Comes – the Almost Impossible Worship

There was a righteous man called Job in the past (Job 1:1).

What happened?

All of Job’s sons & daughters died (Job 1:18 – 19), Job lost all his possessions  (Job 1:13 – 37) and only Job & his wife remained.

But yet, Job did not blame God nor charge God with wrong (Job 1:22, Job 2:10) though his wife wasn’t happy with God (Job 2:9). The Bible reveals that it was Satan* by his choice who did those ‘calamities’ (Job 2:7).

*the ‘evil gods’ which bring sickness & destruction upon the Earth (remember, they have a ‘choice’). Verses —>  [2 Corinthians 4:4, Psalm 82, Ephesians 6:12]

Now, what did Job do (his ‘action’) when such terrible things happened to him on account of Satan despite him being righteous?

He “Worshiped” God (Job 1:20). Incredible. Beyond this world.

P/S:

If suppose  a family member of ours has died or is suffering for ‘whatever reason’, could we ‘worship God’ like Job did?

Perhaps, that’s why it is Written in Holy Scripture that there was “no one like him [Job] on the earth, a blameless and upright man, fearing God and turning away from evil” (Job 1:8). Deep.

Will these ‘gods escape’? Not at all. Every sickness, pain & suffering they caused upon men —> they will ‘experience it again for each case’ when their ‘Judgment’ comes (principles in Isaiah 3:11 as well):

“A Psalm of Asaph. God standeth in the congregation of the mighty; He judgeth among the gods.” (Psalm 82:1, KJV)

“Thus you shall say to them, “The gods that did not make the heavens and the earth will perish from the earth and from under the heavens.” (Jeremiah 10:11, NASB)

For example, for the ‘gods’ which ‘starved the children & people in famine ridden lands’ (being ‘their god’) —> YHWH will make them ‘starve’ to ‘death’, yes they will ‘die like men’ during their Judgment as the verses below clearly imply:

“The LORD will be terrifying to them, for He will starve all the gods of the earth; and all the coastlands of the nations will bow down to Him, everyone from his own place.” (Zephaniah 2:11, NASB)

“But ye [gods] shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes” (Psalm 82:7, KJV)

“Wilt thou yet say before him that slayeth thee**, I am God? but thou shalt be a man, and no God, in the hand of him that slayeth thee” (Exekiel 28:9, KJV)

**Allegorically accepted to refer to Satan himself or Lucifer.

When will these happen? At the end of this age (Matthew 24:3), during His Glorious Return & when His Judgments are Revealed (Psalm 82:8).

Thus we can Truly say HalleluYah (or Praise/Worship God like Job) when we understand all these things as it is Written especially since:

“But all these things are merely the beginning of birth pangs.” (Matthew 24:8, NASB)

*Birth pangs means —> Despite the Evil done —> His Will will Overcome it in Christ —> and Lord Jesus Christ will set all creation free —> into the Glorious Liberty of the Children of God post afterlife Judgments too.

Verses proving this are as follows and these correlate Perfectly to His Holy Will despite the ‘evil of creation & the gods’:

“For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself also will be set free from its slavery to corruption into the freedom of the glory of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation groans and suffers the pains of childbirth together until now.” – apostle Paul (Romans 8:20 – 22, NASB)

Regarding His Glorious Return, please consider:

“And immediately after the tribulation of those days:

‘The sun will be darkened,

and the moon will not give its light,

and the stars will fall from the sky,

and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.’

And then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn. And they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven, with power and great glory.

And He will send His angels with a great trumpet call, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from the ends of the heavens to the ends thereof.” (Matthew 24:29 – 31. BLB)

‘The plan to Afterlife Victory in Christ is to let ourselves lose on earth and to die unfairly in the hands of evil; Isn’t it clear in the verses (Matthew 16:25, Matthew 24:9, John 12:24 Romans 8:18)?’ – Anonymous

Let us remember also that when ‘the righteous cease to exist on the earth’ (implied) —> ‘evil will come’ —> to destroy the World in many ways —> till Lord Jesus Christ Gloriously Returns to Fight & End Evil Judging it Righteously too at the ‘End of this Age’ —> so, ‘killing the righteous by evil men or by their evil gods’ is not such a good idea as Judgment of ‘evil to come’ will follow:

“The righteous perisheth, and no man layeth it to heart: and merciful men are taken away, none considering that the righteous is taken away from the evil to come.” (Isaiah 57:1, KJV)

“For then there will be a great tribulation, such as has not occurred since the beginning of the world until now, nor ever will.” – Lord Jesus Christ (Matthew 24:21, NASB)

Blessed be His Holy Name!
