Gender Based Rules – Head Coverings

The “covering” spoken for man or woman is the ‘same thing referred to’ meaning that ‘opposite’ rules are given based on gender “as it is written” in verses below (picture).

Simple exegesis.

We ‘twist’ when we ‘don’t want to obey’ and these commands are ‘directly’ referred to as the Lord’s just a few verses later (1 Corinthians 14:37).

I point out this to show how some  twist the verse to  fit their ‘own’ doctrine against ‘what is written’ just like they do for many of the other Scripture likewise too. Deep.

Summary

Gender Based Rules exist in the New Testament when read as it is written. Here we explore head coverings during prayer and prophesying ‘only’ as is written.

What is the Purpose of our faith?

To produce “obedience” of ‘faith’:

“through whom we have received grace and apostleship to bring about the obedience of faith among all the Gentiles for His name’s sake,” (Romans 1:5, NASB)

Foreknowledge of God toward Obedience

To ‘those’ who are “Chosen” (1 Peter 1:1) to “Obey” (1 Peter 1:2).

“Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ,
To those who reside as aliens, scattered throughout Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia, who are chosen

according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, by the sanctifying work of the Spirit, to obey Jesus Christ and be sprinkled with His blood: May grace and peace be yours in the fullest measure.” (1 Peter 1:1 – 2, NASB)

“Reward” for “obedience”: ‘Grace & Peace’ multiplied to the “fullest” measure (1 Peter 1:2)
