Greener Grass

Human Resouces (HR)

If being ‘unfair’ toward others is going to make you ‘richer’ (greener grass), don’t opt for it as the Bible warns against various such ‘evil acts’ as follows:

(i) No ‘unfair’ salary

Behold, the pay of the laborers who mowed your fields, and which has been withheld by you, cries out against you; and the outcry of those who did the harvesting has reached the ears of the Lord of Sabaoth.” (James 5:4)

(ii) No paying late, oppressing nor robing them of their wages

You shall not oppress your neighbor, nor rob him. The wages of a hired man are not to remain with you all night until morning.” (Leviticus 19:13)

(iii) Don’t exploit a foreign worker also (e.g. say, with a pay, work pressure or working hours that you wouldn’t exert on your own children –> a good test to realize ‘which acts’ may be wrong or not)

You shall not oppress a hired servant who is poor and needy, whether he is one of your countrymen or one of your foreigner who is in your land in your towns.” (Deuteronomy 24:14)

(iv) Yes, it’s a sin and your (worldly) ‘legal’ arguments (it’s my right as an employer etc.) ‘mean nothing’:

You shall give him his wages on his day before the sun sets, for he is poor and sets his heart on it; so that he will not cry against you to the LORD and it become sin in you.” (Deuteronomy 24:15)

(v) Don’t rob the “poor” nor beat the “afflicted”

Do not rob the poor because he is poor, Or crush the afflicted at the gate;” (Proverbs 22:22)

(vi) What will happen if you disobey all of these and say, ‘I don’t fear God’?

Then I will draw near to you for judgment. I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, against the adulterers, against those who swear falsely, against those who oppress the hired worker in his wages, the widow and the fatherless, against those who thrust aside the sojourner, and do not fear Me, says the LORD of the Heavenly Armies.” (Malachi 3:5)

P/S:

Does ISIS, Zodiac, the lion, devil, demons etc. scare you?
These are just ‘created things’.

Remember, God created Satan too. Be afraid, be very afraid.

To those who choose to ‘disobey’ (let’s see your bravery on that Day as a ‘glimpse’ of it is already described in advance as stated below):

Nations will see and be ashamed, deprived of all their power. They will put their hands over their mouths and their ears will become deaf. They will lick dust like a snake, like creatures that crawl on the ground. They will come trembling out of their dens; they will turn in fear to the Lord our God and will be afraid of You.” (Micah 7:16 – 17)

Good ‘luck’.
