The Last Day

He Will Raise All Things to Life

All Things will be Raised at the Last Day

The verse:

This is the will of Him who sent Me, that of all that He has given Me I lose nothing, but raise it up on the last day.” – Lord Jesus Christ (John 6:39)

‘at the Last Day’ —> Christ the Lord —> “lose nothing” —> ‘raise it up’

How many things were given to Him?
“All things” (not ‘christian things’, ‘some things’, ‘few things’, ‘certain things’ etc) as this verse ‘clearly’ states:

Jesus, knowing that the Father had given all things into His hands, and that He had come forth from God and was going back to God,” (John 13:3)

‘Blessed Saviour of the World’

P/S:

Note that the phrase “lose nothing” itself intrinsically implies that He Raises “all things” (because that’s the ‘only way’ to ‘lose nothing’).

Also, it doesn’t all happen at the ‘same time’ but will be fulfilled (or completed) at the Last Day itself (in God’s Plan for the Ages).

And that’s how, God’s Will (the Father’s Will as mentioned in the verse quoted) never Fails.

Saviour King.

Yup, that’s how “God is Good” (Perfectly).

Remember, even in context Christ reveals two things in this same chapter (John 6) which speaks ‘not’ just about the raising of believers but also of the rest as follows:

(i) Believers

“‘Verily, verily, I say to you, he who is believing in Me, hath life age-during;” – Lord Jesus Christ (John 6:47)

(ii) Believers (those who eat) are first; the world too (later) will follow (as contrasted)

“‘I am the Living Bread that came down out of the Heaven; if any one may eat of this Bread he shall live — to the age; and the Bread also that I will give is My Flesh, that I will give for the life of the world.’” – Lord Jesus Christ (John 6:51)

(iii) All will be taught by God —> eventually —> only then will be raised by Lord Jesus Christ –> This is the ‘Process’ involved

it is having been written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God; every one therefore who heard from the Father, and learned, cometh to Me;” – Lord Jesus Christ (John 6:45)

What happens to the ‘all’ who will come to Him?
Raised at the Last Day as it’s written (God doesn’t draw you to Him unless you’re ready):

no one is able to come unto Me, if the Father who sent Me may not draw him, and I will raise him up in the last day; ” – Lord Jesus Christ (John 6:44)

Is it really true that “all things” will ‘come to Him’ (at the Last Day) or only ‘some things’? Also, will He ‘cast out’ any on this Last Day?

Read for yourself and decide:

All that the Father doth give to Me will come unto Me; and him who is coming unto Me, I may in no wise cast without, because I have come down out of the heaven, not that I may do My will, but the will of Him who sent Me.” – Lord Jesus Christ (John 6:37 – 38)

Yes, He benefits life for all the ‘world’ too:

“Jesus, therefore, said to them, ‘Verily, verily, I say to you, Moses did not give you the Bread out of the Heaven; but My Father doth give you the True Bread out of the Heaven; for the Bread of God is that which is coming down out of the Heaven, and giving life to the world.” (John 6:32 – 33)
