Last frontier – the tongue (the secret to perfecting one’s religion)

“I have said, ‘I observe my ways, Against sinning with my tongue, I keep for my mouth a curb, while the wicked is before me.’.” (Psalm 39:1)

“Whoso is keeping his mouth and his tongue, Is keeping from adversities his soul.” (Proverbs 21:23)

“If any one doth think to be religious among you, not bridling his tongue, but deceiving his heart, of this one vain is the religion;” (James 1:26)

“for we all make many stumbles; if any one in word doth not stumble, this one is a perfect man, able to bridle also the whole body;” (James 3:2)

“and the tongue no one of men is able to subdue, it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison,” (James 3:8)
