Law or Lawlessness: Why Believe?

1) By “believing”, we’re “justified” apart from the “Law” (its “works”):

“For we maintain that a man is justified by faith apart from works of the Law.” (Romans 3:28)

2) Does that mean that there is “some justification” on those who keep the “works” (ritualistic /traditions) of the “Law” (of Moses)?

No!

Again, I repeat, “no” one will succeed or be “justified” by actually doing the “works” (ritualistic/traditions) of the “Law”:

“know that a person is not justified by the works of the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ. So we, too, have put our faith in Christ Jesus that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law, because by the works of the law no one will be justified.” (Galatians 2:16)

3) Believing (faith) even “justifies” you of “all” (not some or certain) things “which you were not able to do” in the Law of Moses, i.e. which includes those (ritualistic) “works” too:

“and from all things from ye were not able in the law of Moses to be declared righteous, in this one every one who is believing is declared righteous;” (Acts 13:39)

4) That’s how we “establish” the “Law of Moses” (‘not’ by doing its “ritualistic works” but by “believing” in faith of Jesus Christ):

“Do we, then, nullify the law by this faith? Not at all! Rather, we uphold the law.” (Acts 3:31)

So, it’s pretty evident from the verse above that without this “faith” (in Christ), one ‘fails’ to uphold ‘all the Law’, thereby being in a state of “lawlessness” instead, right?

In conclusion, “faith in Christ” (for those “believing”) —> imputes a “justification” or declaring of “righteousness” —> in “all” things which one could “not” fulfill —> with respect to the “works of the Law” (without actually ever doing it!) –> all by the ‘free’ Grace of God —> please read especially point (3) above to “understand this”.

How about those, With or Without the Law, but “no” faith in Christ?

You “perish/judged” accordingly (God is Fair):

“For there is no partiality with God. For all who have sinned without the Law will also perish without the Law, and all who have sinned under the Law will be judged by the Law;” (Romans 2:12)

Lastly, note that you “perish/judged” due to “your sins” (Justice) but only those who “believe” gain “justification/righteousness” imputed upon them ‘freely’ by the Grace of God as a ‘reward’ for their “faith in Christ” as a result of the “Perfect Faith of Jesus Christ” Who Alone Perfectly Fulfilled both the Requirements of Faith & Law (by the “Will of God”):

“and the righteousness of God [is] through the faith of Jesus Christ to all, and upon all those believing, — for there is no difference, for all did sin, and are come short of the glory of God

— being declared righteous freely by His grace through the redemption that [is] in Christ Jesus,” (Romans 3:22 – 24)

Yes, as it’s written above, the “Faith of Jesus Christ” imputes the “righteousness of God” upon “all” (those ‘all believing’) —> during Judgment.

As for the “Salvation of the World” (as other verses testify to it), it is “not” immediately nor at the ‘same’ time as “believers” —> into the ‘age/ages’ (long “time”) which are coming.
