What type of Government Leader is Best?

A Famous one on “Truly serving people”

He knows that he has a pension (or income flow till he dies), so it’s brilliant that he does this (clever from a spiritual perspective).

Simply put, “he is only taking the income which he needs from his salary & gives the rest away Instead of being greedy”.

It’s more difficult for private sector workers with a similar salary to practice that because ‘we are not guaranteed a fixed income till we die’.

As for the classic ‘security issue’ such as “What if I become sick or need a lot of money for my medical expenses” such a leader like him has allowed the usual government system which takes care of the poor to do that. This is risky for incompetent Governments with low-quality medical services for the poor but he has chosen to ‘face the same music as them’ with regards to these.

This is a ‘true political leader’ who has demonstrated that ‘he is no different from the poorest’ in his country by not coveting “special privileges” that comes with the position of power.

A respectable political leader indeed. I have also heard that Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam lived by similar principles which is exemplary for any political thoughts, socialist or democratic or otherwise.

P/S:

Which command of Christ endorses this lifestyle or path? Here’s plausible one:

“In everything, therefore, treat people the same way you want them to treat you, for this is the Law and the Prophets.” – Lord Jesus Christ (Matthew 7:12)

Think about it & it will be clear. In fact, even the Apostles of the Blessed Lord chose a similar lifestyle too of living like the rest & “not as lords over others exercising special rights”.
