Lost Kings

These are the traits of the last kings anointed by God (read each line carefully – and note the level of “holiness” required):

“The sayings of King Lemuel—an inspired utterance his mother taught him.

Listen, my son! Listen, son of my womb!

Listen, my son, the answer to my prayers!

Do not spend your strength on women,

your vigor on those who ruin kings.

It is not for kings, Lemuel—

it is not for kings to drink wine,

not for rulers to crave beer,

lest they drink and forget what has been decreed,

and deprive all the oppressed of their rights.

Let beer be for those who are perishing,

wine for those who are in anguish!

Let them drink and forget their poverty

and remember their misery no more.

Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves,

for the rights of all who are destitute.

Speak up and judge fairly;

defend the rights of the poor and needy.” (Proverbs 31:1 – 9)

P/S:

Yes, there was a different time long ago when great kings walked the earth who had nothing but God as their No.1.

A lost in time indeed – deep mysteries about the hearts of such kings who walked with God is vaguely described as follows:

“As the heavens are high and the earth is deep, so the hearts of kings are unsearchable.” (Proverbs 25:3)

Last but not least, these kings searched out to “know God” and His matters more than anything else in this world as this verse plainly states in all truth:

“It is the glory of God to conceal a matter; to search out a matter is the glory of kings.” (Proverbs 25:2)

Finally, such kings have the “King of kings” (God Himself – Lord Jesus Christ) as their “KING” as His Great Return is described below briefly:

“And I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse, and He who sat on it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and wages war.” (Revelation 19:11)

“His eyes are a flame of fire, and on His head are many diadems; and He has a Name written on Him which no one knows except Himself.

He is clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God.

And the armies which are in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, were following Him on white horses.

From His mouth comes a sharp sword, so that with it He may strike down the nations, and He will rule them with a rod of iron; and He treads the wine press of the fierce wrath of God, the Almighty.

And on His robe and on His thigh He has a name written, “KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.”.” (Revelation 19:12 – 16)

P/S:

All these kings had “one common” ground which made them greater than all the other people of this world:
“They obeyed and followed after God, the KING of kings, Who taught them all these Perfect Principles of His”.
