Lost Truths IN the Faith OF Jesus Christ

Between IN and OF in translations

—> ends up glorifying one’s human or personal faith (faith IN Christ)

Instead of

—> Glorifying Christ’s Perfect Faith (Faith OF Jesus Christ) as actually written in Original Greek Scripture

Meaning?

faith IN Christ —> our God given ability to believe in Him (exists for us to believe IN the ‘Faith OF Jesus Christ’)

Faith OF Jesus Christ —> The Perfect Faith belonging to Christ Alone through which ‘All God’s Will’ cannot be undone (Romans 3:3) & will surely come to pass eventually for all (Romans 3:22)*

An example of a better translation which translated the equivalent phrase “Faith OF the Son of God” (‘Faith OF Jesus Christ’) verse below ‘correctly’:

“I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the Faith OF the Son of God, Who loved me, and gave Himself for me.” (Galatians 2:20, KJV)

Difference?
‘faith in Christ’ focuses on ‘our God given ability to believe’ while the ‘Faith OF the Son of God’ tells the truth of Depending upon Christ’s Perfect Faith Alone to ‘live’.

Elaboration:
OF means ‘belonging to’. Thus the ‘Faith OF Jesus Christ’ speaks OF the Perfect Faith belonging to Christ Alone upon which we (believers) are called to have faith IN.

Danger:
Preaching the focus regarding ‘our faith IN Christ’ (‘one coming in his own name’, preaching about ‘our faith or ability to believe Him’) instead of preaching ‘His Perfect Faith OF Jesus Christ’ (‘His Name, His Faith’ only) may well mean the difference (‘in principle’) as warned in the verse below:

“I have come in My Father’s Name, and you do not receive Me; if another comes in his own name, you will receive him.” – Lord Jesus Christ (John 5:43)

Conclusion
Knowingly & unknowingly, we are in Great Error on the very Foundations OF Faith IN Jesus Christ Itself. May God have Mercy upon us all!
