Love is not God
“God is Love” (1 John 4:8) but Love is not God.
Why?
Firstly, God is Love because God is best described by Love. However, Love is not God because God is not only described by the attribute of Love. He is also the Way, the Truth, the Life and the Light.
God doesn’t do evil because it’s written that “in Him there is no darkness at all” (1 John 1:5).
An example may help to explain this.
A child is starving in Africa.
How is God Love?
Simple: God didn’t make that child starve.
Then who did?
The current god of this age together with men who couldn’t care less.
How?
If God created that child in heaven and then threw him into the middle of Africa to starve, then God is at fault. He didn’t do this (bring that child into the world).
You see, God gave the freedom to make babies into the hands of men.
The highly exalted mother’s love is the reason why that child is starving in the first place. In her quest for Eros, she had sex with a man (not God) and got pregnant and gave birth to that child in Africa. God didn’t ask her to have sex but probably the god of this age which invented the cultures of men forced her to marry and required her to obediently give birth to a child for the family (the author of such cultures/belief systems are at fault – the rulers of darkness in this age).
The unwise mother (knowing that she can’t even provide for herself) didn’t care for the consequence of bringing a baby into this world (even though she knows that baby will starve with her). Another reason is due to her selfish intention of hoping to give birth to a baby so that the child will take care of her when she’s old is why she is willing to take a risk of having a child in such a place even though the chances are higher that the child will starve instead.
In short, the mother didn’t care that the child may starve and that’s why she brought the baby into this world by her own choice for her own future and other selfish reasons.
So, we see that the child starving in Africa is the failure of the Eros and the selfishness of a Mother’s Love (literally).
Bravo to some people who have gone to Africa and brought food there to tailor a solution to the problem.
How come God doesn’t step in?
Haven’t you read? He gave you freedom.
By our choices on how we use the freedom given, we’re revealed by our actions (e.g. to give birth to babies in places where we don’t even have enough to feed ourselves or the greater acts of love by some people who have dedicated their lives to charity work to help address this issue to help solve such unwise acts).
Yes. He will step in only at the end of this age and begin to solve all problems of Evil. Until then, He gives us the chance to make wiser choices, e.g. avoid making such mistakes or help solve those mistakes done by others in our little capacities.
That is, He has shown you, O man, what is Good. Therefore, for this time, it is for us to act first proving whether we’re good or evil. It’s not a time to blame God for a mistake He didn’t do (literally) nor demand His Solution immediately because it’s not His Time yet. It’s your time to act wisely now!
Remember, the very Eros (sexual love) and a mother’s love which the world is fond of worshiping is the “literal real reason” (truth) why the “starving child in Africa is born into this world” (irrefutable fact).
“and He said to them, ‘Ye are those declaring yourselves righteous before men, but God doth know your hearts; because that which among men is high, is abomination before God” (Luke 16:15)
Therefore, let us stop blaming God for the mistakes which our own mothers and fathers have done but He didn’t do and instead focus on solving these problems in our little ways instead of worshiping it.
An irony indeed (literally).
“so, then, nothing before the time judge ye, till the Lord may come, who will both bring to light the hidden things of the darkness, and will manifest the counsels of the hearts, and then the praise shall come to each from God.” (1 Corinthians 4:5)
