Love People or Things?

When you learn this (quote in picture), you will “Stop” measuring love by the “amount of things” which you “receive”.

You will learn to “Love truly” (even toward your enemies, the hardest love to practice ) which ‘keeps giving’ without ‘expecting anything in return’.

And when you reach this ‘level of love’, God’s command is fulfilled (see the verse below) and He will reward you greatly in His Kingdom:

“But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing in return; and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High; for He Himself is kind to ungrateful and evil men.” – Lord Jesus Christ (Luke 6:35)

Why?
That’s who God is and we ought to follow Him likewise being His sons as the verse above means.
