Misery of Man – Great, Right?
Indeed,
“Because to every purpose there is time and judgment, therefore the misery of man is great upon him.” (Ecclesiastes 8:6, KJV)
Here are some verses of hope & not permanent doom (God has put a “Proper” Solution & “Procedure in time & judgment” in Christ Jesus):
“Who [God our Savior] will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.” – apostle Paul (1 Timothy 2:4, KJV)
“For it is for this we labor and strive, because we have fixed our hope on the living God, who is the Savior of all men, especially of believers.” – apostle Paul (1 Timothy 4:10, NASB)
“And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all men to Myself.” – Lord Jesus Christ (John 12:32, NASB)
Salvation is Christ’s Work “Alone” and this Will of God surely will come to pass beyond Hell itself.
“So will My word be which goes forth from My mouth; It will not return to Me empty, Without accomplishing what I desire, And without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it.” – God (Isaiah 55:11, NASB)
God never changes from His Will when He does it (Isaiah 55:11, Isaiah 46:10), please note the word “End” in Isaiah 46:10 too:
“Declaring the end from the beginning, And from ancient times things which have not been done, Saying, ‘My purpose will be established, And I will accomplish all My good pleasure’;” – God (Isaiah 46:10, NASB)
“We will certainly die and be like water poured out on the ground, which can’t be recovered. But God would not take away a life; He would devise plans so that the one banished from Him does not remain banished.” (2 Samuel 14:14, CSB)
The verse above clearly mentions that the “one banished” (after they die, context: afterlife Judgments) does “not remain banished” (in Hell or Lake of fire or any afterlife Judgment, in principle). Yes, Lord Jesus Christ is the Answer.

Why?
We are ‘mere men’.
“The wicked do turn back to Sheol, All nations forgetting God.
For not for ever is the needy forgotten, The hope of the humble lost to the age.
Rise, O Jehovah, let not man be strong, Let nations be judged before Thy face.
Appoint, O Jehovah, a director to them, Let nations know they [are] men! Selah.” (Psalm 9:17 – 20, YLT)
Deliverance from it ‘later’ —> “live to God in the spirit” or “live according to the Will of God in the spirit” [the Reason why the ‘Gospel is also preached to the Dead’; the ‘dead’ in 1 Peter 4:6 is the “same” dead in 1 Peter 4:5, perfect context]
“With respect to this, they think it strange of you not running with them into the same overflow of debauchery, speaking evil of you,
who will give account to Him who is ready to judge the living and the dead.
For to this end the gospel was proclaimed even to the dead, so that they might be judged indeed according to men in the flesh, but they might live in the spirit according to God.” – apostle Peter (1 Peter 4:4 – 6, BLB)
