Right Questions

You cannot take a punishment verse and then exclaim immaturely, “where is the love?”

Truth is, there is great punishment which is severe but it’s not eternal and it is reformative in the end.

“We must pay the most careful attention, therefore, to what we have heard, so that we do not drift away.

For since the message spoken through angels was binding, and every violation and disobedience received its just punishment,” (Hebrews 2:1 – 2)

P/S:

For example, when bears are sent to maul some adolescents, I’m pretty sure there is more to their evil acts than the ones recorded (wait till Judgement Day to find out – when all shall be revealed as He promised):

“From there Elisha went up to Bethel. As he was walking along the road, some boys came out of the town and jeered at him. “Get out of here, baldy!” they said. “Get out of here, baldy!”

He turned around, looked at them and called down a curse on them in the name of the Lord. Then two bears came out of the woods and mauled forty-two of the boys.” (2 Kings 2:23 – 24)

It’s not presumption any more than the presumption accusation of “where is the love?” since neither of us know the “full details of their lives”.

Just because they are kids, it doesn’t mean they’re innocent.

Some children have been capable of heinous crimes and thus such children could be the ones who suffered “just punishment” according to the “hurt they caused” toward others.

I’ll give a more recent example:

James Patrick Bulger was a two year old who was abducted, tortured and murdered by two ten-year-old boys.

Read carefully: “two ten year old boys” were capable of committing such horrific evil acts.

Moral of the story: Don’t judge too early.

If God allowed a “strong” Judgment Sentence upon someone, He has reasons & it’ll be all clear one day on the other side since He is Perfect and makes no mistakes in anything.
