The Irrefutable Scripture

How will the Salvation of All things be achieved?

By His Blood.

Proof verse?

“and through Him to reconcile all things to Himself, having made peace through the blood of His cross; through Him, I say, whether things on earth or things in the heavens.” (Colossians 1:20)

Points emphasized:

(i) All created things dwell within Earth & the Heavens (e.g. Sheol/Hades is contained within it too)

World (‘kosmos’) = Earth & Heavens as the first verse of the Bible mentions this ‘space created for all creation to dwell’:

“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.” (Genesis 1:1)

(ii) God has “Willed To save the World” (no verse ever says that He repented or changed this will), the “world” here is “kosmos” in Greek.

“For God did not send His Son into the world that He might condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through Him.” (John 3:17)

“We have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son to be the Savior of the world.” (1 John 4:14)

So, anything which “He has Willed” and “never repented of” (or “Change His mind about it”, as long as Holy Scripture doesn’t say it) stands and “will come to pass eventually”:

“so My word that comes from My mouth will not return to Me empty, but it will accomplish what I please and will prosper in what I send it to do.” (Isaiah 55:11)

“Declaring the end from the beginning, And from ancient times things which have not been done, Saying, ‘My purpose will be established, And I will accomplish all My good pleasure’;” (Isaiah 46:10)

(iii) Reconciliation is an Act which proves that Salvation is achieved for the “individual which is reconciled”:

“Now all these things are from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation,” (2 Corinthians 5:18)

“Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making an appeal through us; we beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.” (2 Corinthians 5:20)

(iv) At the “point of Reconciliation”, God “does not count their sins no more” and it is applied to anything (in the “world” as mentioned in the verse below) when it is “reconciled”:

“namely, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and He has committed to us the word of reconciliation.” (2 Corinthians 5:19)

*The word ‘people’s sins’ doesn’t occur in the original Greek as some error-prone translations state. The Greek states “their trespasses” = “their sins” where “their” = “world” which is “being reconciled” as the verse above clearly refers without ‘any cunning manipulations’.

(v) Christ’s atonement for “propitiation” (turning away or ending of the wrath of God; thus punishment of the age or ages ceases when His atonement is applied) doesn’t just apply to “us” (believers, Christians) but also to the “Whole World”:

“and He Himself is the propitiation for our sins; and not for ours only, but also for those of the whole world.” (1 John 2:2)

So, it is implied that as long as Christ’s atonement is “not” applied upon them, these “die in their sins” and “remain under the wrath of God” enduring the Punishment of the age/ages accordingly.

(vi) At the Point of Reconciliation (Salvation achieved), “His Blood” is applied and it is for “all things” in the whole world (kosmos, earth & Heavens):

“and through Him to reconcile all things to Himself, having made peace through the blood of His cross; through Him, I say, whether things on earth or things in the heavens.” (Colossians 1:20)

Notice that in the verse above, “His Blood” is applied to achieve the “Reconciliation of all things” and with point (i), (ii), (iv) & (v) above, ‘earth & Heavens’ must be ‘world’ (kosmos).

(vii) This agrees that “creation” (all creation implied) will be ‘set free’ (from “corruption” or “decay” due to “sin”) to the “Glorious liberty of the children of God” as it is written too as follows:

“that also the creation itself shall be set free from the servitude of the corruption to the liberty of the glory of the children of God;” (Romans 8:21)

(viii) The “ages” (time periods) were created by God to fulfill all His Holy will:

“by faith we understand the Ages to have been prepared by a saying of God, in regard to the things seen not having come out of things appearing;” (Hebrews 11:3)

“so that in the ages to come He might show the surpassing riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.” (Ephesians 2:7)

(ix) The actual sentencing verse for the worst sinner of all, “Satan” (Devil) is actually stated as a limited (but long) time period only, which is to the “ages” (subset) of the “Ages” (Universal Set):

“and the Devil, who is leading them astray, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where are the beast and the false prophet, and they shall be tormented day and night — to the ages of the Ages.” (Revelation 20:10)

*No other punishment sentence in Scripture exceeds this (e.g. wicked Men are sentenced to the ‘age’ (singular) in Matthew 25:46 contrasted to the “age-during life” which the righteous men will enjoy during this same time period ‘getting to know the Father & the Son’ more).

(x) In the “End”, God will be “all in all” as prophesied too (please notice the word ‘end’ in the “consecutive verses” of ‘prophecy’ below too):

“then comes the end, when He hands over the kingdom to the God and Father, when He has abolished all rule and all authority and power. For He must reign until He has put all His enemies under His feet. The last enemy that will be abolished is death.

For HE HAS PUT ALL THINGS IN SUBJECTION UNDER HIS FEET. But when He says, “All things are put in subjection,” it is evident that He is excepted who put all things in subjection to Him.” (1 Corinthians 15:24 – 27)

“When all things are subjected to Him, then the Son Himself also will be subjected to the One who subjected all things to Him, so that God may be all in all.” (1 Corinthians 15:28)
