He Will have All Men to be saved

Where is the above phrase found in Holy Scripture?

“Who (God) will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.” (1 Timothy 2:4)

Closely Related verses:

“And I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all men to Myself.” – Lord Jesus Christ (John 12:32)

“For it is for this we labor and strive, because we have fixed our hope of on the living God, who is the Savior of all men, especially of believers.” (1 Timothy 4:10)

Yes, believers are more special than the rest of all men who will be saved too because the believers believed in Him first (God rewards this fairly).

*’lifted up from the earth’ = Resurrected to Heaven (implying not all saved on earth like believers but beyond this life & into the age(s) to come as well).

It’s to be ‘testimony in its own times**’ (meaning: ‘become true in its own times’) for their Salvation as the verse below clearly implies ‘all will be saved’ (note the ‘word all’) for ‘whom Christ became a ransom for’ which is the ‘whole world’ & certainly includes ‘all men’:

“who did give himself a ransom for all — the testimony in its own times –” (1 Timothy 2:6)

** (plural word translated as ‘times’ in verse above; In Greek, it’s the ‘kairois’ moments of divine appointment times for Salvation of all)

The classic error of ‘limited atonement’ (that Christ only died for believers or that His ‘propitiation for sins’ only applies to believers) is “easily refuted” by the verse above & verse below:

“and He Himself is the propitiation for our sins; and not for ours (believers) only, but also for those of the whole world.” (1 John 2:2)

The Messianic Prophecy (below) agrees with this greatly too:

“All the ends of the earth will remember and turn to the LORD, and all the families of the nations will worship before You.” (Psalm 22:27)

Yes, even ‘he’ who couldn’t ‘keep his soul alive’ after they ‘go down to the dust’ or ‘die’ (sounds like those ‘not saved whilst they lived & died on the earth’):

“All the prosperous of the earth will eat and worship, All those who go down to the dust will bow before Him, Even he who cannot keep his soul alive.” (Psalm 22:29)

His Work of Salvation (on His Cross) will be declared:

“Posterity will serve Him;
It will be told of the Lord to the coming generation.

They will come and will declare His righteousness
To a people who will be born, that He has performed it.” (Psalm 22:30 – 31)

The Gospel will be preached even to ‘the dead’ as the first (and not the only) occurrence of it is recorded mysteriously in Scripture below; it records ‘their Judgment as men in the flesh first’ (age-during punishment of Matthew 25:46 in Hell) but eventually by the ‘Will of God’, these too will ‘live in the spirit (in the afterlife)’:

“For the gospel has for this purpose been preached even to those who are dead, that though they are judged in the flesh as men, they may live in the spirit according to the will of God.” (1 Peter 4:6)

If all are going to Heaven eventually beyond Hell one day, then why should we believe or preach the Gospel or obey Him now? The conclusion verse below answers this question beautifully as follows:

“Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of the heavens: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of the heavens.” (Matthew 5:19)

Which commandments is referred to by the verse above? All commandments which God has given through the Law and His prophets as the verses prior (see below) clearly give this definition:

““Do not think that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish but to fulfill. “For truly I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or stroke shall pass from the Law until all is accomplished.” (Matthew 5:17 – 18)

Note that amazingly, both those who ‘keep His Commands & teach others likewise’ together with ‘those who break His Commands & teach others likewise too’ will make it to the heavens (a ‘free gift of Salvation by His Mercy alone) but the former will be ‘greater’ whilst the latter will be ‘least’. God is Good beyond our Imagination, isn’t it?

Now to debunk the common myth of ‘absolute free will’ (meaning some human or creation will could stand forever against God’s Will to save them causing ‘Hell to be eternal’), please consider these additional verses & brief explanations:

A Brief note on Free will

(i) The verse proving ‘no absolute’ free will of creation exists below meaning that nothing which God cannot undo by His Will

“For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it, in hope” (Romans 8:20)

(ii) The next verse proves that despite “creation’s futility in corruption (sin)” due to its non-absolute free will (shown above), God promises to ‘undo all corruption’ for ‘all creation’ (not believing creation only) till we all become “Children of God” by ‘His Will’ alone (though not all at the same time):

“that the creation itself also will be set free from its slavery to corruption into the freedom of the glory of the children of God.” (Romans 8:21)

Interestingly also, the Greek Word for “draw” in John 12:32 has a very strong definition (it includes, ‘dragging forcibly’ or ‘against one’s will) meaning Christ can Save all men against their will by dragging them back to Him. Unfailing Love, isn’t it?

“And I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all men to Myself.” – Lord Jesus Christ (John 12:32)

God doesn’t fail. We need to re-check our ‘absolute free will’ & other ‘failed theologies’ which stand against Christ’s Blessed Words.

Again, the ‘Meaning of lifted up from the earth’?
“Resurrected to Heaven”

Indeed,

“That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the world.” (Matthew 13:35)

“Thy Will be done on Earth as it is in the Heavens”

“So will My word be which goes forth from My mouth; It will not return to Me empty, Without accomplishing what I desire, And without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it.” (Isaiah 55:11)

And yet,

“Look among the nations! Observe! Be astonished! Wonder! Because I am doing something in your days– You would not believe if you were told.” (Habakkuk 1:5)

The remark above is regarding the “Gospel” (unbelievable ‘Good News’, isn’t it? Many cannot believe the truth while on earth) as the verse below echoes it in the New Testament as well:

“Look, you scoffers, wonder and perish; for I am doing a work in your days that you would never believe, even if someone told you.'” (Acts 13:41)

Interestingly, the opposite phrase ‘God Will not have all men to be saved’ is “not” found in Scripture though it’s so commonly erred & preached in Christianity.
