What then is my reward? Just this: that in preaching the gospel I may offer it free of charge, and so not make full use of my rights as a preacher of the gospel.” – apostle Paul (1 Corinthians 9:18)

Yes, the Gospel is best offered ‘free of charge’ (read the verse above) –> again and again.

The ones in the picture didn’t “work” (a secular job) to earn it.

They ‘harvested’ it out of their congregation in the “name of God” (sadly).

P/S:

Yes, the Bible does “allow” His (true) ministers to ‘take money or salary’ but certainly “not” such “huge amounts”:

In the same way, the Lord has commanded that those who preach the gospel should receive their living from the gospel.” – apostle Paul (1 Corinthians 9:14)

In short, I’m pretty sure this is “not” the ‘receive their living’ from the Gospel which the Lord allowed for those who “bear His Holy name”.

Think.

He said it perfectly:

Then Jesus said to His disciples, “Truly I tell you, it is hard for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of heaven.” (Matthew 19:23)

Remember, “not” one New Testament verse allows any of them to receive such huge amounts in wages.

Lastly, this is “not” ‘receiving their living’ (from the Gospel) but ‘for profit’ (prosperity) which the Bible clearly disallows (as written below):

Unlike so many, we do not peddle the word of God for profit. On the contrary, in Christ we speak before God with sincerity, as those sent from God.” (2 Corinthians 2:17)

Good luck folks.
