The God that did Not Fail

The God That Did Not Fail

And His Beautiful Request

And yet,

He didn’t think about Himself but rather thought about “every enemy” (including you & I for our sins put Him on The Cross) and Requested:

“Father forgive them, for they know not what they do…” (1st part, Luke 23:34)

Which means

‘Christ died for the sin of the Whole World on His Cross & in return He asked for us ‘all’ (sinners) to be Forgiven’.

His Beautiful Request (nothing for Him but everything for us) on His Cross “Will come to pass” (‘a testimony in its own times’); It’s inevitable:

“Who (Lord Jesus Christ) did give Himself a ransom for all — the testimony in its own times –” (1 Timothy 2:6)

“and He Himself is the propitiation for our (Christians’) sins; and not for ours (Christians) only, but also for those of the whole world.” (1 John 2:2)

*(Emphasis mine)

P/S:

In His Blessed Words,

“Therefore when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished!” And He bowed His head and gave up His spirit.” (John 19:30)

Conclusion:

Why Lord Jesus Christ?

Because His Goodness is beyond belief as described in Verses above! (we find it hard to comprehend such perfection as it is written):

“do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others.

Have this attitude in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus,

Who, although He existed in the form of God, did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped,

but emptied Himself, taking the form of a bond-servant, and being made in the likeness of men.

Being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross.

For this reason also, God highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name,

so that at the name of Jesus every knee will bow, of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and that every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” (Philippians 2:4 – 11)

It’s truly an honour to bow before Him and declare Him as Lord & God as it’s prophesied that this will happen when ‘all’ will ‘swear allegiance’ to Him (oath loyalty to Him, ‘willingly’ as it’s the only way it brings ‘glory to God the Father’ as written in the last verse above) —> eventually as revealed in Holy Scripture:

“I have sworn by Myself, The word has gone forth from My mouth in righteousness And will not turn back, That to Me every knee will bow, every tongue will swear allegiance.” – God (Isaiah 45:23)

Blessed Saviour of the World

*The only failure here is that ‘some of us failed to believe’, but regardless, it never affects His Faithfulness:

“What then? If some did not believe, their unbelief will not nullify the faithfulness of God, will it?

May it never be! Rather, let God be found true, though every man be found a liar, as it is written,

“That You (God) may be justified in Your Words, and prevail when You are judged.” (Romans 3:3 – 4)

“If we believe not (are faithless), yet He abides (remains) Faithful: He cannot deny Himself.” (2 Timothy 2:13)
