God Wins in the end

The punishment of God by fire has been greatly misunderstood by mortal men who then try to emulate it here on earth and burn their fellow men “purposelessly” claiming to imitate divine vengeance here on earth itself which is “wrong”.

When men tried to play god, they performed some of the most cruel acts against their fellow men under the name of executing punishment in the name of God which they have “no” business to do.

Unless you can supernaturally call fire down from heaven (e.g. the called ‘last two witnesses’ in Revelation 11) you’re not called to execute any form of judgment on your fellow men especially since your sense of  judgment itself is “biased” and “prejudiced” (greatly “unfair”).

God is “not” mocked by the claims of cruel men claiming otherwise.

However, just because you can call fire down from heaven, it doesn’t prove you “right” as the Bible has forewarned of ‘equivalent’ counterfeit acts done to deceive the masses.

Here are the verses testifying to these “fiery” acts:

(i) God’s Two Witness

“And I will appoint my two witnesses, and they will prophesy for 1,260 days, clothed in sackcloth.”

They are “the two olive trees” and the two lampstands, and “they stand before the Lord of the earth.”

If anyone tries to harm them, fire comes from their mouths and devours their enemies. This is how anyone who wants to harm them must die.

They have power to shut up the heavens so that it will not rain during the time they are prophesying; and they have power to turn the waters into blood and to strike the earth with every kind of plague as often as they want.” (Revelation 11:3 – 6)

(ii) The Enemy also calls fire from heaven and performs great signs to deceive (i.e. to declare a “false god”)

“Then I saw a second beast, coming out of the earth. It had two horns like a lamb, but it spoke like a dragon.

It exercised all the authority of the first beast on its behalf, and made the earth and its inhabitants worship the first beast, whose fatal wound had been healed.

And it performed great signs, even causing fire to come down from heaven to the earth in full view of the people.

Because of the signs it was given power to perform on behalf of the first beast, it deceived the inhabitants of the earth. It ordered them to set up an image in honor of the beast who was wounded by the sword and yet lived.” (Revelation 13:11 – 14)

(iii) The Enemy is given power to kill God’s people and even “win” by killing God’s two witness; hence, the masses will be deceived by the “winners” (success) believing their claim toward a “false god”. Here are those verses describing these last great deceptions:

“It opened its mouth to blaspheme God, and to slander His Name and His dwelling place and those who live in heaven.

It was given power to wage war against God’s holy people and to conquer them. And it was given authority over every tribe, people, language and nation.

All inhabitants of the earth will worship the beast—all whose names have not been written in the Lamb’s book of life, the Lamb who was slain from the creation of the world.” (Revelation 13:6 – 8)

And,

“Now when they (the two witnesses) have finished their testimony, the beast that comes up from the Abyss will attack them, and overpower and kill them.

Their bodies will lie in the public square of the great city—which is figuratively called Sodom and Egypt—where also their Lord was crucified.

For three and a half days some from every people, tribe, language and nation will gaze on their bodies and refuse them burial.

The inhabitants of the earth will gloat over them and will celebrate by sending each other gifts, because these two prophets had tormented those who live on the earth.” (Revelation 11:7 – 10)

Now, that’s not the “end”.

God will prove victorious over all evil in the “end”. The enemy only wins during the ‘in-betweens’ until its appointed time of deception.

This is how God Wins at the “end”:

(1) His two witnesses “come back to life” and are “taken to Heaven” while their enemies will endure further woes.

“But after the three and a half days the of life from God entered them, and they stood on their feet, and terror struck those who saw them.

Then they heard a loud voice from heaven saying to them, “Come up here.” And they went up to heaven in a cloud, while their enemies looked on.

At that very hour there was a severe earthquake and a tenth of the city collapsed. Seven thousand people were killed in the earthquake, and the survivors were terrified and gave glory to the God of heaven.” (Revelation 11:11 – 13)

(2) The Devil (Satan), beast and the false prophet are defeated (finally) and are “cast alive” into the “lake of fire”.

“When the thousand years are over, Satan will be released from his prison and will go out to deceive the nations in the four corners of the earth—Gog and Magog—and to gather them for battle.

In number they are like the sand on the seashore.

They marched across the breadth of the earth and surrounded the camp of God’s people, the city He loves. But fire came down from heaven and devoured them.

And the Devil (Satan), who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur (“lake of fire”), where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night to the ages of ages.” (Revelation 20:7 – 10)

(3) Then, Judgment Day follows with those wicked also cast into the dreaded “lake of fire”.

“Then I saw a Great White Throne and Him Who was seated on it.

The earth and the heavens fled from His presence, and there was no place for them.

And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the Throne, and books were opened.

Another book was opened, which is the book of life.

The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books.

The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and Death and Hades (Hell) gave up the dead that were in them, and each person was judged according to what they had done.

Then Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death.

Anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire.” (Revelation 20:11 – 15)

“But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars—they will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur (or, the “lake of fire”). This is the second death.” (Revelation 21:8)

Don’t be deceived.
It’s all real.

God Wins at the “end”.

How to know which is the truth?
You decide for yourselves which is ‘right’ and,

“See, I have told you beforehand” – Lord Jesus Christ (Matthew 24:25)

P/S:

It’s all “fair” since notice who did all these evil acts “first” and your “pain” (during punishment) is only according to “what evil you’ve inflicted or done toward others”:

“Woe to the wicked–it will go badly for them, for what they have done will be done to them.” (Isaiah 3:11)

For example, you burn people with fire (first), you’ll get exactly the same in Hell and eventually in the lake of fire too until the time of your guilt is consummated.
