God’s Goodness in the End despite our sins

(i) The Promise of “one” fate or the “same” fate for “all” men

“This is an evil in all that is done under the sun, that there is one fate for all men. Furthermore, the hearts of the sons of men are full of evil and insanity is in their hearts throughout their lives. Afterwards they go to the dead.” (Ecclesiastes 9:3)

“For I have taken all this to my heart and explain it that righteous men, wise men, and their deeds are in the hand of God. Man does not know whether it will be love or hatred; anything awaits him.” (Ecclesiastes 9:1)

“It is the same for all. There is one fate for the righteous and for the wicked; for the good, for the clean and for the unclean; for the man who offers a sacrifice and for the one who does not sacrifice. As the good man is, so is the sinner; as the swearer is, so is the one who is afraid to swear.” (Ecclesiastes 9:2)

(ii) The “same” fate in the “End” for “all” men

Peace —> not evil —-> in the expected —-> “End”

Indeed, God is Good:

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” (Jeremiah 29:11)

“For to this end we both labor and strive, because we have set our trust in the living God, who is the Savior of all men, especially of those who believe.” (1 Timothy 4:10, NHEB)

“We will certainly die and be like water poured out on the ground, which can’t be recovered. But God would not take away a life; He would devise plans so that the one banished from Him does not remain banished.” (2 Samuel 14:14, HCSB)

“Who (God) will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.” (1 Timothy 2:4)

P/S:

In the Intermediate state of Judgment in Hell, the wicked are served “their own evil” as “it is written”:

“How horrible it will be for the wicked! Disaster will strike them. What they have done will be done to them.” (Isaiah 3:11)

“Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. Whatever a man sows, he will reap in return.” (Galatians 6:7)

“And inasmuch as it is appointed for men to die once and after this comes judgment,” (Hebrews 9:27)

“and his lord, moved with anger, handed him over to the torturers until he should repay all that was owed him.” – Lord Jesus Christ (Matthew 18:34)

“Make friends quickly with your opponent at law while you are with him on the way, so that your opponent may not hand you over to the judge, and the judge to the officer, and you be thrown into prison.

Truly I say to you, you will not come out of there until you have paid up the last cent.” – Lord Jesus Christ (Matthew 5:25 – 26)
