Good – Don’t Touch

“And concerning the things of which ye wrote to me: good it is for a man not to touch a woman,” (1 Corinthians 7:1)

P/S:

Nothing is true against the Word of God. Thus, there is “no” such thing as a ‘touching good man’ regardless of what the world falsely claims.

* ‘touch a woman’ includes ‘friendly or playful touches to having sexual relations with her’ (inclusive –> literally).

The Bible teaches the ‘Perfectly’ Good Way which is “you don’t touch”.

Simple points:

Just like you would “not” like your wife or sister being ‘touched’ (including ‘friendly’ gestures of a hug, a kiss on the cheek etc) by ‘other men’, do ensure that you don’t do it to another’s wife or sister too (doing good ‘likewise’ toward others) as Christ said:

“Treat others the same way you want them to treat you.” – Lord Jesus Christ (Luke 6:31)

Remember, those who do ‘evil’ likewise will “not” be justified by the verse above simply because it’s talking about “good” behavior as defined by God’s Perfect principles.

There are “no” contradictory ‘lifestyles’ for a true Christian simply because God doesn’t get ‘moved’ by anyone who does the things which He hates (e.g. wearing sexually revealing clothes or indecent shorts or otherwise in church to ‘worship Him’).

To claim that such a ‘heart is good’ is as false as the act itself for one who has a good heart will strive “not” to displease God.

This brings us to the question (What Would Jesus Do – WWJD):

“Would Lord Jesus approve such inappropriate dressing in His House of Prayer or rebuke it sternly?”

*Please be careful of your response to the question above for it may *merit some serious judgment* for the ‘wrong answer’ for “taking His Holy Name in *vain*”.

“You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain, for the LORD will not leave him unpunished who takes His name in vain.” (Exodus 20:7)

Lastly, the rule of life is simple:

‘Don’t aim to please men but rather, please God’
