Good – Furnace of Affliction

“Behold, I have refined you, but not as silver; I have tested you in the furnace of affliction.” (Isaiah 48:10)

Why?
So that your change for the ‘better’ will be “permanent” and this in turn may result in His Name “not” to be profaned further due to “our failures”:

“For My own sake, for My own sake, I will act; For how can My name be profaned? And My glory I will not give to another.” (Isaiah 48:11)

P/S:

‘Our failures define us, NOT God’.

So, men need to beware of accusing God of any error since it’s NOT Him but men who caused or did those errors. God shows Mercy.
