His Commands and His Kingdom – His Great Mercy

What you have is 66 million believers AGAINST apostle Paul’s WRITTEN Commands of the Blessed Lord (1 Corinthians 14:37), well done. I rather be numbered among the ‘few’ who acknowledge those verses (e.g. 1 Timothy 2:12 or 1 Corinthians 11:5, 1 Corinthians 14:37 etc.).

If 66 million of you are going to heaven by DISOBEYING all these commands (which is possible, Matthew 5:19 as God is Good), would I be going to Hell for preaching and obeying it?

Also, if these commands are ‘not important’, apostle Paul seemed to have wasted a lot of time in WRITING these non-glamorous Commands of the Lord. God is the GENIUS. Perhaps, He did so to see ‘obedience from faith’ (Romans 1:5) among the believing Gentiles & ‘not faith only’ —-> where these Commands are against the Flesh (Romans 8:5)  —> to reward those who obey accordingly (in principle of Matthew 5:19).

Remember, John the Baptist didn’t do much ‘charity works’ etc (if any) but still ranks highly in His Kingdom simply because of obeying God’s Word (so was prophet Samuel himself as it is WRITTEN in 1 Samuel 15:22 – 23, right?):

“for I say to you, a greater prophet, among those born of women, than John the Baptist there is not; but the least in the reign of God is greater than he.” – Lord Jesus Christ (Luke 7:28, YLT)

Yes, ‘obedience to His Word (1 Samuel 15:23) is better than sacrifice (1 Samuel 15:22) and “disobedience” is so serious that ‘one can even lose one’s kingship’ (1 Samuel 15:23) ‘. Can you see it?

Perhaps apostle Paul himself should have focused more on charity works instead of writing all these pointless commands in these New Testament verses, right?

Here’s a scary verse regarding ‘disobeying His Commands’ especially toward those who ‘think’ that it’s about their ‘heart’ without any obedience to His Commands:

“The one who says, “I have come to know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him;” (1 John 2:4, NASB)

So, does “His Commandments” (in 1 John 2:4, NASB) refer to the “things which I write to you are the Lord’s commandment” (1 Corinthians 14:37, NASB) by apostle Paul as well?

If not, where is the “verse” which says so? I think it refers to those commands too & other Commands as well as it is found in New Testament Verses. Remember “Lawlessness” in His Great Denial (Matthew 7:23)?

So based on 1 John 2:4, are you, your pastor or even your professor in the ‘safe’ way with regards to 1 Corinthians 14:37?

May God have Mercy on whom He Wills first (Romans 9:15) or hardens-others-in-their-own-disobedience-first (Romans 9:18) and later, may He have Mercy on All eventually (Romans 11:32) despite ‘all our disobedience’ too (Romans 11:30 – 31). Can you REALLY understand it now?

Indeed, GOD is the GREATEST:

“For He says to Moses: “I will show mercy to whom I may show mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I may have compassion.” (Romans 9:15, BLB)

“So then He has mercy on whom He desires, and He hardens whom He desires.” (Romans 9:18, NASB)

Yes, the ‘enemies of the Gospel are still Elected as Beloved’:

“From the standpoint of the gospel they are enemies for your sake, but from the standpoint of God’s choice they are beloved for the sake of the fathers; for the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable.” (Romans 11:28 – 29, NASB)

The ‘enemies of the Gospel’ (implied from Verses above meaning toward all enemies of the Gospel, for God has no impartiality) will be shown Mercy too eventually as it is Written in Consecutive Verses below (perfect context):

“For just as you once were disobedient to God, but now have been shown mercy because of their disobedience, so these also now have been disobedient, that because of the mercy shown to you they also may now be shown mercy.” (Romans 11:30 – 31, NASB)

In verse above:

“you” = refers to Believers

“they” = refers to the ‘enemies of the Gospel’ (Romans 11:28)

Isn’t it Crisp Clear in Holy Scripture Without any linguistic manipulations or other type of manipulations by ‘mere men’?

So, the example above highlights and not limits His Great Mercy to the special case of Israel —>  (or subset, as it is contrasted against the Gentiles, Romans 11:12 and even the ‘Reconciliation (and NOT the condemnation) of the World’ too eventually is echoed in Romans 11:15,  –> which can be understood better with the definition in Colossians 1:16 & His Action as Revealed in Colossians 1:20) —>  which includes causing ‘All Israel to be Saved’ (highlighted in this chapter) eventually (Romans 11:26) from ‘their sins’ too (Romans 11:27).

In fact, Israel has the ‘enemies who have blasphemed against His Holy Spirit & are going to be punished first for the two ages first, now & the coming one (Matthew 12:32) but thereafter Mercy is implied since it is Written too that, ‘Mercy Triumphs Over (Ends) Judgment, in James 2:13 agreeing to the following ‘same’ Conclusion too:

*The next age is NOT eternal as Scripture mentions that there are at least ‘two future ages to come’ (simple singular vs plural meaning of these words, can’t you see it?) as it is Written in Ephesians 2:7. This means (for example), the ‘blasphemy of the Holy Spirit’ will be punished till the ‘next-singular-age-only’ (as it is mentioned in Matthew 12:32) and there exists at least one-age after that age of punishment ends (as implied from Ephesians 2:7) where God may Show His Promised Mercy (Romans 11:32) which Triumphs (or Ends) any [afterlife] Judgment Sentence (James 2:13). Yes, one is only ‘temporarily an enemy of the Gospel’ till Mercy is shown to them (and they are “Saved” for His Mercy “Saves” —> in principle of Titus 3:5) —> and that’s how His Mercy which Saves is Promised to “all the disobedient” (Romans 11:32, NASB) or “all those in unbelief” too (Romans 11:32, KJV) as it is WRITTEN in the last Consecutive Verse to the above (perfect context again) beyond which apostle Paul didn’t Write further Regarding this FINAL CONCLUSION of God’s JUDGMENT which ENDS with HIS MERCY, isn’t God Truly INDESCRIBABLE:

“For God has shut up all in disobedience so that He may show mercy to all.” (Romans 11:32, NASB)

“For God hath concluded them all in unbelief, that he might have mercy upon all.” (Romans 11:32, KJV)

By the way, the word “may” or “might” does NOT exist in the Original Greek (in case you didn’t realize and were thinking of that as a point of rebuttal by arguing ‘availability’ based on a ‘word that does NOT exist in the Original Greek Verse’) and it is added in English Translations for ‘smoothness’ (and because it pertains to the ‘future’ or since ‘it is not fulfilled completely yet’) as it is the case of the ‘might’ (or maybe you say?) in Verse below too:

“But all this was done, that the scriptures of the prophets might be fulfilled. Then all the disciples forsook him, and fled.” (Matthew 26:56, KJV)

Yes, the same way the ‘might’ in “Scripture might be fulfilled’ in verse above means that ‘it will surely come to pass as it is Written’ —> similarly the ‘may’ (NASB) or ‘might’ (KJV) as it is Written in Romans 11:32 ‘will come to pass too’. MAY you SEE it too.

“Blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy.” – Lord Jesus Christ (Matthew 5:7, NASB)

Conclusion

‘We want God’s Kingdom of the Heavens but we don’t want His Commands’ – Unknown

Can we REALLY see His MERCY now?

“Whoever then shall break one of the least of these commandments and shall teach others the same, he will be called least in the kingdom of the heavens; but whoever shall keep and shall teach them, he will be called great in the kingdom of the heavens” – Lord Jesus Christ (Matthew 5:19, BLB)

Context? Simple, as it is Written (explained below for edification):

As the last verse above Declares —> Those who break any of ‘these commands’ (referring to ALL Law and Prophets, Matthew 5:17 – 18) —> will still be “in the kingdom of the heavens” but ‘least’ —> together with the one obeying who will be ‘greater’ and still in this SAME  kingdom of the heavens —> as evidenced by the SAME phrase used which is “in the kingdom of the heavens” —> meaning if the phrase “in the kingdom of the heavens” refers to ‘being in the heavens eventually’ for the one ‘obeying His Law’, —> it must MEAN the SAME LIKEWISE for this phrase is used for the one ‘breaking’ His Law & Prophets too.

Isn’t God Truly Merciful beyond our limited theological concepts? Yes, ‘no’ twisting of Scripture is done here but only seeing the REAL Meaning as it is WRITTEN.

Can you SEE it too?

“I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints,” – apostle Paul (Ephesians 1:18, NASB)
