How does “God Hate Esau”?

Destroyer “only” vs Destroying Evil & Healing

The thief comes “only” to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” – Lord Jesus Christ (John 10:10)

A clue: The “Thief” (Satan & his hosts together with all who follow “his deeds” to “steal, kill & destroy”).

Satan and his hosts can only destroy you but they cannot heal you.

Thus, God’s Hate for Ephraim (Edom, Esau) cannot be ‘sadistic’ but is toward the evil which they’ve done (God hates the sin but not the sinner is true – literally):

I have loved you,” says the Lord.

“But you ask, ‘How have you loved us?’

“Was not Esau Jacob’s brother?” declares the Lord. “Yet I have loved Jacob, but Esau I have hated, and I have turned his hill country into a wasteland and left his inheritance to the desert jackals.”

Edom may say, “Though we have been crushed, we will rebuild the ruins.”

But this is what the Lord Almighty says: “They may build, but I will demolish. They will be called the Wicked Land, a people always under the wrath of the Lord.” (Malachi 1:2 – 4)

Healing is of the True God only even though you may not know Who actually Healed you:

It was I who taught Ephraim to walk, taking them by the arms; but they did not realize it was I who healed them.” (Hosea 11:3)
