Here’s a rational argument:

Science explains only things that we can perceive directly via our senses or those evidence which are translatable in some way (via the scientific equipment & methods) to the perception of our senses.

It cannot “see nor perceive” spiritual things “beyond these senses” (its limit).

And a verse too:

“For to us God revealed them through the Spirit; for the Spirit searches all things, even the depths of God.” (1 Corinthians 2:10)
