Refute them in public

A verse allowing it in “public” too:

“for he powerfully refuted the Jews in public, demonstrating by the Scriptures that Jesus was the Christ.” (Acts 18:28)

Someone quoted:

‘struggle with all your power to gain Paradise. And do not listen to those who say that everyone will be saved. This is a trap of Satan so that we don’t struggle’

I Disagree strongly with the quote above.

Why?

Verses against the quote:

“Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.” (1 Timothy 2:4)

‘All men’ and ‘those who believe’ (believers) are two different phrases (words) as the verse below from this ‘same’ letter which ‘agrees perfectly’ to the above:

“For it is for this we labor and strive, because we have fixed our hope on the living God, who is the Savior of all men, especially of believers.” (1 Timothy 4:10)
