The Secret of Reading People

How to read people correctly?

More Accurately,

As in water the face is to face, So the heart of man to man.” (Proverbs 27:19)

P/S:

All factors held constant, a ‘first impression’ says much about anyone you encounter simply because they are on their ‘minimum guard’ (of exhibiting self) when they ‘don’t know you’ (“no” need to pretense a ‘good impression’ on you). Right?

However, as the saying goes ‘don’t judge the book by its cover’ may be true only if “people change for the better”.

Actually, you can judge a lot of things by its ‘cover’, for example even by looking at ‘a face’ as the Creator of the face reveals this deep truth:

A wicked man hardens his face, And the upright — he prepareth his way.” (Proverbs 21:29)

The Bible clearly teaches that a ‘proud cover’ (proud face) is hated by the LORD Himself (an indicator):

These six things does the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto Him: A proud look, …” (Proverbs 6:16 – 17, a phrase)

But remember, people can “change” (or repent), so our judging lasts only as long as they don’t repent of it.
