Biblical Fact on Titles

Titles God never used:

God “never” called Himself a queen, princess, mother or wife in Holy Scripture.

Titles He has used:

However, God has called or has been identified as King, Prince, Father and Husband in Holy Scripture to ‘reveal’ His attributes.

Here’s a proof verse for each of the above:

(i) King

“For God is the King of all the earth; Sing praises with a skillful psalm.” (Psalm 47:7)

(ii) Prince

“God exalted Him to His own right hand as Prince and Savior that He might bring Israel to repentance and forgive their sins.” (Acts 5:31)

(iii) Father

“one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.” (Ephesians 4:6)

(iv) Husband

“For your Husband is your Maker, Whose name is the LORD of hosts; And your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel, Who is called the God of all the earth.” (Isaiah 54:5)

P/S:

The male-female gender distinction will “not” last eternally (together with other differences as well) for He has abolished it in Christ.

So, in the Resurrection there are “no marriages anymore” and “no more male-female distinctions” as these two verses prove literally too:

“There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.” (Galatians 3:28)

“For in the Resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like angels in heaven.” – Lord Jesus Christ (Matthew 22:30)
