The true love test
(“Test all things and hold fast to what is good“)
True Love based on God “never demands” about what it “should receive” (self-seeking) and also “never boasts” about what it has “given” (exalts itself).
How true a person’s love is primarily judged based on these two traits only.
It’s a necessary condition for true love though not a sufficient one.
Yes. No human is perfect; hence, one can only truly fall in Love with God in Christ Who alone exhibited such a Perfect Love in both His Words and Deeds, some of which are yet to be fulfilled in time.
