Defeat of Legion.

The Incident (Demon Possession):

“Jesus asked him, “What is your name?”

“Legion,” he replied, because many demons had gone into him. ” (Luke 8:30)

Then, “Legion begged Lord Jesus Christ … repeatedly”

“And they begged Jesus repeatedly not to order them to go into the Abyss.” (Luke 8:31)

Next, “Legion begged Lord Jesus Christ …”

“A large herd of pigs was feeding there on the hillside. The demons begged Jesus to let them go into the pigs, and he gave them permission.” (Luke 8:32)

P/S:

That’s a “lot of begging” by even a very ‘powerful’ (?) herd of demons (the kind stuff which makes nightmares to most people) when compared to the Most Powerful Lord Himself.

“…Greater is He (Lord Jesus Christ) in you (believers) than he (Satan) who is in the world” (1 John 4:4)
