Entering Heaven – Everyone or Few only?
Question
Let’s go into the field and do some ministry work (good works vs soul winning).

We also know that the thief on the cross went into Paradise with “no” work (and after living a life full of sin – that’s why he is on the cross as the thief himself confessed this truth first in Luke 23:41). But how come he is Saved then (Luke 23:43)? because God has Mercy on whomever He Wills (Romans 9:15). No work or anything else determines SALVATION (please read Romans 9:16 carefully).
Also, the poor widow with 2 coins did MORE CHARITY Work than all the rich who poured into the treasury. God measures everything relative to what we are given too. Hence if you are given a bigger church with more support and even money, more will be required of you (Luke 21:1 – 4 and Luke 12:48).
Please don’t forget also that the wages of the ones in the last hour is the same as the ones who worked for the whole day (12 hours? – Matthew 20:2 with Matthew 20:9) and even bore the heat of the day (Matthew 20:12). Why? God does what He wants with “His things” and is ‘your eye evil because God is Good?’ (Matthew 20:14 – 16).
Last but not least, please don’t forget that doing ministry to win souls is wise indeed (Proverbs 11:30) but the numbers doesn’t matter since even Noah only won 8 souls (1 Peter 3:20) but yet he is considered as one of the most righteous man ever to walk the earth (Ezekiel 14:14). And “as in the Days of Noah”, probably it will thus in the number of soul conversion too (implied intrinsically in Matthew 24:37).
Matthew 7:21 (Verse in Image) Speaks of the “few” who enter Heaven at the Time of His Return on the White Horse (Context: Related Verses – Revelation 19:11 – 16) for His Marriage (Revelation 19:7 – 9, Matthew 25:1 – 13) but Matthew 5:19 Speaks of “everyone” (both the Law Breaker and Law Keeper) entering Heaven eventually due to Lord Jesus Christ’s WORK and MERCY Alone in fulfilling all Law and Prophets eventually (Matthew 5:17 – 18). Please note carefully the ‘similar’ phrases in both Matthew 25:12 and Matthew 7:23 to ‘realise’ this link between Matthew 7:13 – 23 and Matthew 25:1 – 13 – Can you see it? (Topic, Context). Let Scripture interpret Scripture as Clement of Alexandria taught.
We need to consider more Verses regarding a Topic for a Complete Understanding of Biblical Truth especially where there is a Verse for each claim made.
Peace to you
