God of Prosperity?

Who said this “promise” (in picture, promising “great prosperity” on earth)?

Satan (a.k.a. the Devil)

Here are the verses where this incident is found in the Bible:

“And he led Him up and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time.

And the devil said to Him, “I will give You all this domain and its glory; for it has been handed over to me, and I give it to whomever I wish.

“Therefore if You worship before me, it shall all be Yours.”.” (Luke 4:5 – 7)

P/S:

Moral of the story:

God doesn’t ask you to believe in Him so that you may gain prosperity (this logic is of the Devil clearly).

Truth is, one is commanded to believe in Him regardless “if one becomes prosperous on earth or not”.

In fact, Abraham (Job etc.) were “special cases”, not the other way around.
