It Is Finished

The Testimony Remains

“When Jesus therefore had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished!” And He bowed His head, and gave up His spirit.” (John 19:30)

His Work on the Cross finished God’s Will for the Salvation of the whole World.

All that remains is for it to be testified in different “times” (in ‘different orders’):

“who (Jesus) did give Himself a ransom for all — the testimony in its own times —” (1 Timothy 2:6)

“for even as in Adam all die, so also in the Christ all shall be made alive, and each in his proper order, a first-fruit Christ, afterwards those who are the Christ’s, in His presence,” (1 Corinthians 15:22 – 23)
