Kings

Perspective – Lion.

The lion isn’t the largest nor the strongest animal. For example, an elephant is both ‘bigger’ and ‘stronger’ than a lion.

But even if an elephant kills a lion, it doesn’t become the king of beasts thereafter.

A dead lion remains as a ‘deceased king of beasts’ while the living elephant is still ‘no king’ regardless of its ‘victory’.

Moral of the story:
You don’t have to be the ‘biggest’ nor the ‘strongest’ in order to be like the ‘lion’; a ‘kingly’ task for men would be to ‘follow after God’s Will’ even to the point of death, beautifully.

As it is written:

and did make us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him is the glory and the power to the ages of the ages! Amen.” (Revelation 1:6)

P/S:

God is fair; the choice to be a king in His Kingdom is open to anyone who wishes to believe and follow Him.
