One Day – the gods will Perish

As He Promised (in verse in image) to “Judge the gods” too:

“God stands in the congregation of the mighty; He judges among the gods.” (Psalm 82:1, KJV)

Why?

Haven’t you seen a starving child?

Indeed, it’s “these gods’ doings” where they used their power

(i) “to do evil”

“How long will you judge unjustly, and accept the persons of the wicked? Selah.” (Psalm 82:2, KJV)

(ii) Instead of “helping the poor, afflicted and the needy”

“Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy.

Deliver the poor and needy: rid them out of the hand of the wicked.

They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness all the foundations of the earth are out of course.

I have said, You are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.” (Psalm 82:3 – 6, KJV)

Conclusion

Indeed,

“in whom the god of this age did blind the minds of the unbelieving, that there doth not shine forth to them the enlightening of the good news of the glory of the Christ, who is the image of God;” (2 Corinthians 4:4, YLT)

YAH (YahWeh) will save us and destroy them on the Terrifying Day of the LORD.

Yes, He made them “as gods” but ‘they failed to fulfill His Will & turned evil instead as described in verses above too’:

“I said, “You are gods, And all of you are sons of the Most High.” – God Speaks to the gods (Psalm 82:6, NASB)

So, ‘their punishment’ includes:

“But you shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes.

Arise, O God, judge the earth: for you shall inherit all nations.” (Psalm 82:7 – 8, KJV)

“The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD come.” (Joel 2:31, KJV)

“And the LORD shall utter His voice before His army: for His camp is very Great: for He is strong that executeth His word: for the Day of the LORD is Great and very terrible; and who can abide it?” (Joel 2:11, KJV)

“Behold, the day of the LORD is coming, Cruel, with fury and burning anger, To make the land a desolation; And He will exterminate its sinners from it.” (Isaiah 13:9, NASB)

“because come did the Great Day of His Anger, and who is able to stand?” (Revelation 6:17, YLT)

Yes, He Will save “all men” eventually especially since He knows how we were bullied by ‘these gods & their deceptions’:

“Who (God) will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.” – apostle Paul (1 Timothy 2:4, KJV)
