Evil always fails.
(In a different Way)
Some have trusted Him to their last drop of blood recently.
Instead of destroying them, their murderers only made their resurrection “even better” as this verse testifies in all truth:
“…There were others who were tortured, refusing to be released so that they might gain an even better resurrection.” (Part of Hebrews 11:35)
The more you make a believer in Christ suffer on account of Him (prolonged torture —> with/without death), you’re only adding to his “even better resurrection” (a deep mystery).
Hence, ‘evil never overcomes good even in the most heinous acts’.
