Simply Deep Pitfalls

Consider these statements which are so close in words but yet, so deep apart in meaning:

(i) “God Will not Fail”

Meaning: God’s Will eventually comes to pass in time fulfilling His Holy Word.

(ii) “God Will not Fail you”

Meaning: God will not let you fail. This is a dangerous statement because it may lead us to focus or be confused with our “own will” instead of God’s Will. Thus it is only true if and only if it satisfies the famous saying below:

“if God’s Will is your will, then you will have your will”

P/S:

Thus, we need to be careful with both our words & the theology to which we subscribe to. Or, we need to understand the “inherent assumptions” which are “not” explicitly stated in order to “correctly” understand certain phrases especially when it relates to Theology.
