An interesting quote from the world reads:

‘My old friends don’t know the new me and my new friends don’t understand my history’

Kind of true isn’t it?
Ask, and it’ll be revealed.

Speak truth only, even the bad truths in one’s past. Lying only brings one closer to the ‘lake of fire’ (as they have ‘their part’ there).

One may fool men but not God; He alone knows who is truthful (and upright) in his ways and who is just putting up a show.

“But the cowards, unbelievers, vile, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars–their share will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death.” (Revelation 21:8)

You don’t need to be truthful in front or behind anybody’s back if you’re being truthful in God’s sight (that is, ‘be truthful always’, in Him).
