Why is Life Unfair?

All of us may have seen some people succeed while others don’t in various aspects of life from “earning money” to “spiritual goals”.

So, it is natural to ask:

“Is there a 100% guarantee rule to follow to ensure success?”

Surprisingly, the answer is a “no”.

Other questions which follow closely are:

(i) Who ends up becoming rich?
(ii) Who might suddenly die in an accident?
(iii) If I work hard and believe in myself, will I certainly succeed?
(iv) Why is that person who is not-so-smart but he gets to make a lot of money?
(v) Why nothing bad seems to happen toward those evil & racist ones?
(vi) Why does good things also happen to relatively bad people?
(vii) Also, why does bad things happen to relatively good people?

And many more.

Explanation:

God has ordered this “temporal life” according to the rule of “uncertainty” (or “time and chance”) as it’s revealed below by the Preacher:

“I have seen something else under the sun: The race is not to the swift or the battle to the strong, nor does food come to the wise or wealth to the brilliant or favor to the learned; but time and chance happen to them all.” (Ecclesiastes 9:11)

As you have read above, nothing is guaranteed (in general). This means that you may do most things right & experience a difficult life or vice versa.

This begs the next question:

“Is God unfair to allow this rule?”

No, not at all.

Why?
This is because regardless of whether one faces a “good or bad situation” in life, His Will is that you “obey His Word”.

By doing so, you will “reap your rewards” or “reap Judgment/punishment”
in the “afterlife” according to “what you have done or sown (from ‘belief to actions’)”:

“Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.” (Galatians 6:7)

and the “unfairness in this life” will be balanced out with “higher accountability” as more will be required out of you:

“But the one who does not know and does things deserving punishment will be beaten with few blows. From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked.” – Lord Jesus Christ (Luke 12:48)

That’s how everything will be “fair” when we “understand” from the “totality perspective” of both “this life’s unfairness” vs “afterlife’s payback” accordingly.

Remember, what awaits each man at the end of this life is “Judgment”; be prepared as it is written (you “die once” only from the earth):

“And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:” (Hebrews 9:27)
